I currently work from two locations – a community centre (wheelchair accessible) and my home (a ground-floor room accessed via two very small steps on the front path).
Phoenix House is just off Sittingbourne high street (behind the library, opposite the police station).
The full address is:
Swale Community Centres
This venue has step-free access and accessible toilets
There is a car park available for Phoenix House users, at the back of the library car park (to the rear of the Phoenix House building) and spaces are on a first come, first served basis. If it is full, the council-run pay and display car park at the library is less than 100 yards away from Phoenix House (60 spaces, of which 4 are designated as disabled spaces) and rarely full. There are also a small number of spaces for Blue Badge holders along Central Avenue.
Please note that I hire these rooms hourly as needed, I do not have a permanent room here. There may be other Phoenix House users around when you come and due to fire regulations you will need to sign in and out of the book at reception.
Swale Community Centres has a website which has a map and details of the centre.
My home therapy space is about a mile from the town centre, drivable in about 5 minutes and with driveway parking directly outside.
