I currently work from two locations – a community centre (wheelchair accessible) and my home (a ground-floor room accessed via two small steps on the front path).
Phoenix House is just off Sittingbourne high street (behind the library, opposite the police station).
The full address is:
Swale Community Centres
This venue has step-free access and accessible toilets
There is a car park available for Phoenix House users, at the back of the library car park (to the rear of the Phoenix House building) and spaces are on a first come, first served basis. If it is full, the council-run pay and display car park at the library is less than 100 yards away from Phoenix House (60 spaces, of which 4 are designated as disabled spaces) and rarely full. There are also a small number of spaces for Blue Badge holders along Central Avenue.
Please note that I hire these rooms hourly as needed, I do not have a permanent room here. There may be other Phoenix House users around when you visit.
Swale Community Centres has a website which has a map and details of the centre.
My home therapy space is about a mile and a half from the town centre, drivable in a few minutes and with driveway parking directly outside.
