People with all sorts of difficulties and all sorts of lives come to counselling. There is no one “type” of person! You might think your problem is too small (or too big!) for counselling to be worth trying, but you need not worry about that. We can work together to help you get the most out of counselling. If I am unable to work with you, for whatever reason, I may be able to refer you on to someone who can or help you find better sources of help.
It is very common to feel nervous the first time, but I hope I can help you feel comfortable enough to explore what is going on for you.
